DarkForest.fm Privacy Notice

DarkForest.fm is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU USE THE SITE

When you visit the site or listen to the radio stream, your browser connects
to the DarkForest.fm web server and to our locally hosted AzuraCast service.
As part of making those connections, technical information such as your IP
address, browser information, requested URL, and the date and time of the
request may be processed temporarily. This is necessary to deliver the site
and audio stream and to keep the service secure and reliable.

DarkForest.fm does not retain visitor or listener data. We do not create user
profiles, track people across websites, or use visitor data for advertising.

The legal basis for this limited technical processing is our legitimate
interest in operating, securing, and maintaining DarkForest.fm and in
delivering the site or stream that you request.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

DarkForest.fm does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies.

AZURACAST

The radio stream is provided through our own locally hosted AzuraCast
service. It is not an external analytics or advertising service. A connection
to AzuraCast is made when you start the stream so that the audio and current
track information can be delivered to you. DarkForest.fm does not retain
listener data from that connection.

DONATIONS AND STRIPE

If you choose to make a donation, you may be redirected to Stripe, which is a
separate service operated under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
DarkForest.fm does not send information to Stripe merely because you visit or
listen to DarkForest.fm. Stripe may collect and process the information needed
to complete a donation after you choose to use its service. Please review

DATA SHARING

DarkForest.fm does not sell personal data. We do not share visitor or listener
data with external services, except when you independently choose to use a
separate service such as Stripe for a donation, or where disclosure is
required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal
data, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, or
objection, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Because DarkForest.fm does not retain visitor or listener data, we will
normally have no stored data that can be linked to you.
